 EDTEC448 Summary 

 

Again, I have felt both frustrated and very successful in another of the computer classes that I choose to take!  For this class, 

I was very pleased to learn of the Google documents source as a place on which to work from home or another site to prepare

for my classes.  I have already used it at home to come familiar with it and, so that I will not forget about it.

 

The message board application was fun.  To catch students first responses could be such a motivator.  I felt as others, that management to

keep the topic within boundaries could be tough, but it could be accomplished, as the knowledge that non compliance could threaten

the ability to participate would work.  I could use this very easily with a current events assignment that I always incorporate into my

classes.  I strive to get my learning support students to try to understand the workings of the world about them.

 

I really enjoyed using Dreamweaver, and I am glad to know that it is on the Sull. Co. Schools computer system.  My colleagues and I discusses

usage of that as we returned home yesterday, and we agree that we would love to have more time to use that sight to

incorporate more into our webpages for student and our use.

 

I was thrilled to hear of the web applications available for use as teachers especially Teacher tubes and the podcast iformation.  I can use it in

my classes, as well as suggest it as resourses in the inclusion classes that I will be involved in this upcoming school year.
