Reasons for this tour:

 

I would use this in my 7th grade life science class to review what the structures of the cell look like.  They would also be able to focus on the functions of each of the organelles located in the cell.  I would use this active in conjunction with a flash card activity they will complete after this virtual tour.  I would allow the students to explore this site for about 20 - 25 minutes before the flash card activity.
