Project:
My project was to create a video production. We chose to do an interpretation of Goldilocks and the Three Bears.
Process:
First, we brainstormed possible subjects for our video. We toyed around with several ideas, but then ultimately settled on
Goldilocks. Once we decided what to do, we began to come up with things we wanted to incorporate into our project.
Second, we put our ideas into an order by storyboarding. After the planning phase culminated, we began filming our project.
We chose to do our filming in a non-linear style where we will have to do editing with computer software post filming.
After the computer editing was done, we then uploaded our video onto www.YouTube.com.
Editing in the Camera:
An idea to use this technique in my classroom would be to take videos of my students while they are playing their instruments. On a daily basis
we could look at the aproach they are taking to the instrument and compare it to past lessons to mark improvement or slacking.
NLE Editing:
As a music teacher, we do musicals every year. I could record rehearsals and edit the tapes, by character,
so a student could assess themselves in a specific manner.
