Assignments for the Course
Course Web Page
Use the link on your name above to link to your wiki page that has been created for this course (or from a previous course that you have taken this summer). On your wiki page, you should have:
Pod Cast
You and a team of four other class mates (five total in a group) will create a podcast that will contain pertanent information for you classroom. This could be an audio or a video podcast and could include such topics as an interview, a 'comercial', a lesson or some other classroom related topic. This project will be discussed in the online forums, but created in class.
PowerPoint/Excel/Inspiration
These three assignments are similar in nature. Your goal is to come up with a lesson plan (or a lesson concept) for an assignment for students to complete. The lesson for each of these three applications should have students use the software to increase/demonstrate their knowledge of subject matter. In other words, they are using technology to better their knowledge of specific content material. On your wiki page, you should post your lesson plan/concept as well as a link to your example of what you would expect the finished product to be. That means you must follow your own directions and use PowerPoint, Excel, and Inspiration to create a file that you would expect from your students.
Virtual Technology
Use the web to find vitual technology/virtual tours that can be useful for your classroom. Create links to these sites on your wiki page. Find as many as you want, but I would expect a minimum of 3 to 5 sites.
WebQuest
Please create a link to your webquest that you create on your wiki. I would strongly recommend the basic template from the webquest.org website.

-
Final Presentation- present to the class one of the assignments you created in either PowerPoint, Excel, or Inspiration. Give a brief description of the content area it covers, how you will utilize it, and let us try it.
