Lesson Plans
Turning Point - I would like to use turning point in my room to see the comprehension levels of my student at that moment. I would think this would be great as a review for tests. I also saw that Turning Point came with software that would take their responses and put them right into your gradebook. This would be a great alternative to the white board and stinky markers that I use as a review to see how they are doing.
Inspiration - I would like to use this organizational tool when we do our biographies. This would be a great way to help them learn how to do an outline. I think the webbing would help them get their ideas in to an organizational format.
Digital Cameras - When we do our rock unit, I would like my students to take pictures of various rocks and then as we study each type we can categorize them. This would then make a great bullentin board display.
Power Point - The non-sequential power point would be a great way to test the students. I would love to use this in tandem with the turning point software. I think the students would rather test this way than the traditional paper and pencil test. You could also incorporate digital pictures of your topic (ie. rocks) to use in the test.
Virtual Field Trip - When studying history, I plan on using the virtual field trips to explore places such as Plymoth and the Mayflower. Using my virtual white board, the students can come along for a virtual history ride. These lessons come in really handy on the days before vacation when the students are really not ready to pay attention to a typical lesson. They like the choice in deciding where to go on the trip.

EE, You have been so helpful, and patient. Thanks for all of your help. I am sure that my stress level would have been much higher without your assistance.
