I'm 27, or as kids would say; "I'm this many!" (pretend I'm holding up fingers indicating my age). I am a third grade teacher with Athens Area School District. I enjoy teaching, but in my freetime I enjoy anything involving the outdoors. I just completed my first year of teaching and I really enjoyed my kids.

My Unit Transformation Project!!!!!
For my unit transformation project I selected to update a unit I already use within my classroom. I teach a unit on Space and the Solar Systems. Normally I would work solely with texts, fiction, and nonfiction books, videos, and group projects. I consider myself somewhat computer savvy, yet I have not included much technology in my everyday lessons. After taking this course I have become even more confident with my computer skills. As a result, I will incorporate more technology in the upcoming years.
Some of the updates I made to my unit include: a power point presentation, and links to helpful websites.
I am confident that with the inclusion of technology in my lessons, the students will meet the objectives more easily and adequately.

I am so impressed with all your presentations. I love how you enjoy everything you do. Thanks for all your help with the technology that was beyond my world. Have a great trip tomorrow and enjoy Key West in August!!

Great job Jeff, your computer skills were very impressive and your willingness to share even more impressive! I agree with you that wrestling is the best sport of them all, hands down. With your personality I'm guessing that your a great asset to the Athens wrestling program, keep it up, it's always a fun battle with you guys. Have a great summer!
