Hello again, this is my 4th, yes that's correct, 4th pbwiki page. This time we are creating some new and interesting powerpoints, websites, etc.

Podcast
This was a snapkast podcast that my group and I designed, developed, poured our heart and soul into.

Lesson Plans;
Pod Casting- This class gave me my first opportunity at podcasting. I consider myself somewhat knowlegable about computers, however, podcasting was new to me. I would use podcasting to teach specific topics to attain mastery of skills, for example I would like to use podcasts to help with negative numbers. Some online podcast sites pertain entirely to education, for example, www. teachertube.com.
Online Collaboration Tools- WIKI! That's really all I have to say. Webpages can be designed to help not only the students, they can help the educator as well. Sites such as thinkfree.com, and Google docs. and spreadsheets provide a free and invaluable service. As an educator I can create powerpoint presentations using these free sites. These powerpoint presentations can than be used to teach specific topics. For example I created an interactive powerpoint in which students can practice their multiplication facts.
Virtual Technologies and Tools- This is a great way to take your students to places they may never have the opportunity of going. Make history come alive and take your class to history channel online. Once there you can have them take a virtual tour of many historical places such as the Jamestown Colony. For a fun science virtual site take your kids to www.froguts.com. Once their you can disect many different animals with a fraction of the mess.
Semantic Network- Inspiration and Kidspiration are wonderful tools to use with a language arts program. Prewriting worries can disappear due to these easily used programs. Kidspiration allows students to outline their information using asthetically pleasing interface. I would use this program to give the students another way to prewrite.
Digital Camersa and Mobile Technologies- This ties right in with much of the other lesson plan utilities. As an educator I plan on having my students become familiar with the digital camera and it's use. I could have my class complete their own virtual tour, especially with our science units. I could have students create a virtual tour on plants where they would take photos of plants in and around our campus and later identify those plants.
