My assignments for Edu 464 are:

1.  Podcast:   We did a podcast on cafeteria rules       cafeteria rules-1.mp4

2.   We did a powerpoint on rhyming words.    Rhyming Words03.pps

3.  Lesson Plans:   I would use the digital cameras with our third grade social studies walking field trips.   We go on walking field trips in Troy to familiarize the students with their community and it's history.  Digital cameras would be a big help in all sorts of ways--creating a booklet of the places visited, documenting facts learned, etc.   We could then use the information gathered on our field trips to produce our own virtual field trips, using virtual technologies.   I could use the online collaboration tools, using a blog, to keep the parents informed better.  Since we did a podcast on cafeteria rules, I could use that for the first day of school to reinforce rules of the caferteria.  With the Semantic Network, I would use Inspiration for the writing process.  It would help them brainstorm ideas for what they would write about.
