Session 4: Other Means of communication online

Great list on the Session 3 page!  Thank you for participating.

This week is a light one.  For an activity (which means, you need to read the information, but there will be no discussion on our message board (O:  )I would like you to look over the following website and it's links.

You will start out on the somewhat confusing Media Awareness Network's Safe Passage page for teachers.  Near the bottom of the page you will find the following links.  I've included an image of the links so you know what I'm talking about.

You will need to read the information on the Safe Passage page and then key in on the links from the Internet 101 section.  I would like you to read each of the pages as well as the corresponding Are You Web Aware classroom activities that go with each of the links.  There is some valuable information on these pages that can help you and your students to be more 'web aware'.  We will also use this information to launch our discussion in class this coming week.
