Session 5: Examining Cyberstalking/Strategies for dealing with harasing behavoir online.

First of all, thank you for being flexible and changing your schedule!  I'm sure you will thank me for not exposing you to whatever it was that attacked me earlier this week!  Fortunately I am feeling much better today, but I still am not at 100%

This week's assignment is simple, and it will help you get ahead for next week.  I would like you to read the following article on Cyber stalking entitled: NewCyberStalking.pdf.  Although the entire article is valuable, you can focus on pages 10 - 28 with examples of online chat and explanations of the type of behavior being exhibited.  This article was put together for educators in the UK, but the principles carry across the ocean and apply to us here in the US.  This article will help you complete your next discussion document.   Many thanks to Charlotte Barrow for allowing us to use this in our course.

I will explain more about your next discussion document when we meet together next week.  Our discussion in class next week will help your round out your next discussion document.  For this week, simply read and jot some thoughts about the linked article above taking special note of strategies for reducing risk and dealing with harasing online behavior.
