Discussion Document Information:
Using the lists of social networking and internet communications (the lists that you created discussion documents 1 and 2) combined with the readings from our book, the articles posted in previous sessions and our discussions in class; create a discussion docuement on your wiki page where you will summarize the risks involved for children using the internet.
I would like you to place this summary on your personal wiki page as Discussion Document 3: Summary of Risks. Here is what I'm looking for, a few paragraphs that summarize the risks involved for students using internet resources. Please focus your discussion on the age groups that you teach, but you may touch on the risks involved for students in other age ranges. What this discussion document does for us is helps us wrap the ideas that we have covered so far about Cyberstalking, social networking and internet communication into a few paragraphs of thought and reflection. Include some strategies for helping students and parents stay protected while using the internet.
