Group Projects

Our group project was to update our personal webpage.  Our school uses Metadot and each of us updated

our pages to make them current.  Some teachers use them more than others.  Some update them daily,

some update them weekly, and then there are some who keep them basic from year to year.

I am in the process of choosing my design.  Currently I have a basic model because

creating a day to day plan is very time consuming.  Once I create my lessons via technology

I plan to re-design my layout. You can view the following sites by clicking on the names below.

If you would like to view other websites from that Athens School District

you can visit athensasd.org.

Personal Delicious

I have added some of my favorite sites to My Bookmarks.  I use these on occocasion but I send my students to

my these sites all the time. I like the thought of having a page like this so it is open to my students to view the sites I use.

Group Delicious Sites

A couple of collegues have put together Group Delicious.  We have added sites that we find useful or just fun.

Unit Transformation

During class time I find that students often stuggle with adding and subtracting fractions.  So I created a short powerpoint so they can view this as a review.  I plan to this on an idividual basis.  If I feel they are stuggling with fractions I can send them to the only computer we have in the room, set up the powerpoint and have them view this on their own time.  I also have practice sheets that can help guide them through this lesson.
