Assignment 1 - Complete a web search to locate 5 quality web pages on a given topic using APA format.

 

With this assignment, I have decided to search the web for some exciting new and innovated lessons on the subject of Apples.

The sites that I have found will include the wonderful aspects of teaching Kindergarten.  These, of course, will include exploration, sensory enticement, reading readiness, math readiness, songs and movement, all necessary for an interactive atmosphere!

Assignment 3 - Develop a personal course of study for professional growth.

With the ever changing times of technology, I believe it is very important for teachers to expand their knowledge of technology as well.  At times, this presents my greatest challenge for technology is very difficult for me to grasp.  For my professional growth now and in the years to come, I have to educate myself, as well as taking computer classes, to become familiar with the vast amount of information that is able to be encorporated into my classroom.  I  have begun to use the internet to look for teaching resources and ideas to keep my kindergarten classroom fresh and exciting.  The ideas that I have found are so very useful and allows myself and my classroom to be more focused and exciting.  I want to be the best that I can be and having the resources at my fingertips allows me to create a kindergarten atmosphere that is enjoyable, inviting, and creative.
